Born and raised in NY’s Capital District, a thriving hub of live music, Elissa is an award-winning & published music photographer, writer, and graphic designer. She excels in rock & synthpop, but enjoys being in the pit for any and every genre. Her approach to music is personal: colorful, as she remembers the moment to have been, and so each photo is done individually with care. She’s most known for her love of orcas, cats, superheroes (Dick Grayson & Captain America are her faves) and Bionicle. She loves a good audiobook, really really long road trips, and comedy. She is currently a staff photographer with Metroland Now, a Capital District music and entertainment publication, and is house photographer for The Egg, Albany’s unforgettable ovoid performing arts center.
